  • The Courage to Heal is my Ontario-based counselling practice. I have completed a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, and I provide virtual and in-person counselling services for children, youth, adults, couples, and families. My work is grounded in evidence-informed and trauma-informed approaches.

  • My name is Victoria Theodoridis, and I have completed a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. I bring graduate-level academic training and supervised clinical experience into my work, with an emphasis on creating a safe, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic space.

  • My approach is integrative and draws from DBT-informed, CBT-informed, and EFT-informed frameworks. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs, goals, and pace, recognizing that healing is not one-size-fits-all.

  • I work with children, youth, adults, couples, and families who may be navigating emotional regulation challenges, anxiety, trauma, attachment-related concerns, relational difficulties, and life transitions.

  • Yes. My work is trauma-informed and attachment-aware, meaning I prioritize emotional safety, nervous system regulation, and understanding how past experiences may shape present-day patterns.

  • Yes. My practice is adoption-informed. I support adopted individuals, adoptive parents, and families navigating adoption-related identity, attachment, grief, and relational experiences.

  • I offer virtual counselling across Ontario and in-person sessions in Oshawa, depending on availability.

  • The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, explore what brings you to counselling, and begin building a therapeutic relationship. There is no pressure to share more than you feel ready for.

  • Yes. I offer a free 20-minute consultation to help you decide whether working together feels like the right fit.
